Ok. I'm reduced to the stage whereby i blog only once a week.
I blog even more than once a week when i was in mj can.
Oh hee.
Don't be mistaken, i'm not happy although i sound happy.
Fel and i "tried to" resign today and guess what?
We're told to "think about it" and " get back" to our supervisors as to we're sure if we want to resign. ha. Funny.
Anyway, amidst the many bad phone calls today, i answered two rather mood lifting phone calls.
The first one was from a Dutch.
Ooohoo.
Ok, here's how it wentt:
I was about to hang up when the guy from the netherlands asked for my name...
Guy from netherlands: ....and you are?
Me: YingShi, Sir
Guy: from netherlands: Oh, that's such a beautiful name. But how do i spell it?
Me: Y-I-N-G S-H-I
Guy: Yin Zhi? That's such a beautiful name! Are you chinese?
Me: Erm...yes sir, i'm chinese
Guy: ok. Thank you Yin Zhi...Thank you.
Yes. I have a beautiful name. Very oriental i know.
The second guy, was my second last caller of the day.
Oh well, he made my day.

Because... he had such a very HANDSOME voice!!!
Wah.
He's 27. hehe. Don't ask me what i mean by a "handsome voice", he just sounded handsome and charming.
*faints*
See.
My job is really so unexciting that i take comfort in hearing a handsome voice over the phone.
Pathetic.
Oh well. On to another topic....
I can't decide which course i want to take.
Ntu accounting/nus biz/ntu biz
The phrase from one of the talks i attended in SMU keeps ringing in my head
" if you want a nine to five job, you'll get a nine to five pay"
Ok. I want a nine to five job. But i don't want a nine to have pay.

I know, if i choose to be an accountant, I can easily make 8k a month upon 5 years from graduation.
But i'll have to slog. Slog...
Is that really what i want?
My aunt said to me yesterday night:
Girl...life is short. Why you want to work so hard?
Ah yes. She's suggesting that if i want to go into finance and biz. I'll have to be prepared to work and work and work and work.
If i'm not willing to work, she's saying that i should go take econs in nus, be a teacher, work from 9-5, earn 4k every month and be a happy person.
Haha.
guess there's no such thing as a 9-5 job which pays enough.
Maybe i'll go new zealand and live in a farm for the rest of my life.
Be self sufficient eating apples from the apple trees planted in my own backyard.
Yah...
Haha, she also mentioned that this is the reason why so many people wanna migrate overseas or dream to marry a rich guy or dream that they strike TOTO.
