2:19 PM...............................................................................
Here is something for you to think about..
Is Singapore a country where you are innocent until proven guilty or you are guilty until proven innocent?
Poor Gomez.
Can't believe he got detained.
And Aljunied lost.
oh man...
I was at Serangoon Stadium last Fri.
And i heard Gomez speak about press freedom and the problems faced by young Singapore adults.
Can't remember the last time i clapped so hard or nodded so much when i'm in a crowd, listening to a speaker.
And because i was at the rallies and i watch tv
i know of the kind of media exposure the opposition was getting
It's like two apples becoming one apple and that one good ripe apple becomes a rotten apple.
Better yet. become minghui, a pear. lol
Sad lah.
Even the internet is regulated.
Regulate the net. What is this? A paradox?
"Highly regulated, Singapore has been wary of the anarchic nature of the Net, and has already banned Web sites with pornographic or homosexual themes. While recognising the need for some constraints, Gates warned against becoming over restrictive. "I have no doubt, given that it is a forward looking country, that it will avoid doing something that will be a major roadblock," he said.

That's an article on what Bill Gates said when he was scouting a location for his US$10 billion Multimedia Super Corridor investment. And he chose Malaysia over Singapore in the end.
LHL said he will be too busy handling the opposition members instead of managing singapore if 10-15 of them get into Parliament.
And he'll be distracted by them and not be able to think of better plans for Singapore.
Someone is forgeting here that the opposition members are also representing the people. They are elected by the people, isn't it the pm's job to listen to them?
Politics. So not my forte.
So i shall stop blogging about it...till 5 years later when i'm lawfully a voter :)
