Haiyoz. You guys didn't read my previous post properly.
What i said was
"females must not overly rely on men to take care of us. Even if we must rely on them from time to time for emotional support and what not, its important to be always financially independent."
I'm saying. Females can rely on men.
But they shouldn't be overly dependent on them.
Females should always be financially independent, just in case your husband betrays you, you still have something to fall back on.
I mean, people change you know.
And i still hold my stand.
Women do not need men to survive.
I can feed and clothe myself. i have a shelter over head. I do not need a guy to provide for me. Cause i can provide for myself.
On the other hand...like what Caleb and Mrs Low said, God created both Adam and Eve for a reason.
Its for support and companionship. So that we can carry each other through difficult times and of course, to procreate lah. <--wah. Cliche.
A couple work best together as seen in the Amazing Race.
You don't see sister pair winning the race.
You don't see father son pair winning the race.
You don't see friends winning the race.
You don't see gays winning the race.
What you see is couples winning the race.
But, my point is, having a man in a woman's life is no longer a necessity in today's society...
though it'll be good to have that special someone to love and care for you.
That's my perspective :)
