i. Janet is a university student. She worked very hard as a sales person during vacation to save $4000. She read an advertisement by a beauty salon about a special breast enhancement program. She went to the salon and talked to a manager there. She told the manager that she hoped her breasts could be enlarged from an ‘A’ size to a ‘B’ size. The manager indicated that it was possible and she paid $4000 to enroll into the program. Her breasts increased in size during the initial stage of the program, but went back to their original size at the end of the 24-session program. She went to complain to Consumer Association of Singapore.
