8:30 PM...............................................................................
Yeah!
After reading my notes a few thousand times through, i finally figured that our universe is expanding at a accelerating rate due to anti gravity cause by dark matter which results in repulsion.
What is our universe repelling itself from? I have no idea.
The singularity? other universes?
And still haven't figure if universe is a subset of galaxy or vice versa.
Hm.
Ok. The last thing i need now is for shereen to tell me i'm wrong.
~
Quasars are super massive blackholes which are very bright centers of young galaxies that are incredibly far away. The light they generate takes billions of years to reach us, so that looking at a quasar is like viewing the birth of a galaxy long, long ago.
~
Baryons: strongly interacting fermions- that is, they experience the strong nuclear force and they are made up of 3 quarks.
Meson: a meson is a strongly interacting boson and they are composite (non-elementary) particles composed of an even number of quarks and antiquarks.
Bosons: particles that have integer spin. Most bosons are composite particles, but four bosons (the so-called gauge bosons) are elementary particles which are not known to be composed of other particles. Examples include photons and gluons.
Fermions: particles with half integer spin. Since fermion numbers are often approximately conserved, they are sometimes said to be the constituents of matter. Informally speaking, fermions are particles of matter and bosons are particles that transmit forces. Examples include electrons, protons, neutrons, quarks, neutrinos.
okie. And i thought Baryons and Bosons are the same thing.
