Anyway. I've just watched Curse of the Golden Flower. Was supposed to catch Confession of Pains initially, but went to the wrong theatre :X
Warning Spoilers ahead!
Curse of the Golden Flower was surprisingly nice! Though the boobs were a little distracting.
I like it cause its bout the imperial family. And they are rich. Obviously. And extremely unhappy. haha. (lesson 1: Money cannot buy you happiness)
Like all the blood and how everyone dies and the man is left with nothing but his thrown. Highly possible he that he lost his sanity too. (lesson 2: Power corrupts)
First son tried to kill himself but failed. But got murdered by his little brother aka 3rd son in the end.
Second son committed suicide and succeeded! Wow. That's Jay Chow by the way. (which leads us to lesson 3: It takes a man to commit suicide and actually die)
Third son literally got canned to death by his Dad's gold belt as punishment for murdering his elder brother. ( i like this scene)
hm. Yeah. And all this started cause this man's wife was having an affair with his eldest son which he had with his late wife. Who is not very late actually.
Oh man. I'll nv wanna be in the royal family ever.
Lesson 4, which is the most important lesson of all:
Every man should only have one woman. Otherwise, it'll lead to all of the above!
