Back from day 1 of a workshop held in school.
The workshop is about business and dinner etiquette, resume writing, networking and all that stuff. (all that crap, which i have to believe is not crap)
Prawn peeling anyone?
Spoon outwards, how to eat your bread with butter. No elbows on the table. All these restrictions just takes the joy out of eating.
Met a law and biz double degree student over the very restricted lunch.
First impression of her. Stuck up. 2nd impression. Still stuck up. Nonetheless, she's nice . So she's a nice pleasant stuck up person. Maybe too smart. That's why.
I've learnt that my face is squared shape. (What a surprise.)
The trainer took a look at me and said "this one Maggie Cheung. Maggie cheung"
Reached out to touch my curves (aka permed hair, not waist or anywhere else where the sun don't shine) and commented that my permed hair is actually "Ok" cause it softens my face.
Ooowwlala. I look like maggie cheung people. ha. Very funny.
The trainer is a very polished 37 yr old lady who looks 27. Glides around in 4 inches high heels and carries off a pink ribbon-ed coat which will look hello kitty-est on anyone else effortlessly.
I don't expect anything less cause she's in this line. I mean, you can't possibly teach people how to look divine when u don't look the part.
As her company slogan goes "Why look good when you can look divine?"
Orh.
She very generously shared her hourly rate with us. She charges $300 per hour.
She taught for 6 hours today. Oh well. Simple maths which you all can do. That makes $1800 a day. She also said that she "works hard" for one month and takes an holiday the next. Quote "its good business cause there are no fixed cost. In fact, I regained $13,000 on my training in just a month."
She's not a degree holder and she was an ex air-stewardess. Married with no kids ( i guess it all right.heh. The blue eye shadow and hair (she had a reverse french twist) somehow just gave it away)
That's her. She looks even younger in person.
Shan. I can see you doing this in the future. Helping people look good. Not bad a job eh. Can consider.
