erm.
Picture this.
Mr granddad left $600 million inheritance for grandson 1.
Grandson 2 and 3 each got $60 million each.
And granddad told all his grandsons: you all don't have to work for the rest of your life
All granddaughters got nothing.
If you marry into the family w/o giving birth to a son, you're expected to help out with household chores.
If you do, your status is elevated immediately. In short, you're no longer a maid in the household
Like what kinda freaking weird family is this?
It's like some sort of sexist empire set in the 21st dynasty.
