Burnt my own finger while preparing breakfast just now.
A more precise word would be "toast" instead of "burn"
Was toasting my 2 slices of bread while talking to my grandma.
Got distracted and my finger hit the metal strip of the toaster
And boy, was it painful.
Got toasted at the nail fold area, which is pretty fleshless.

Probably contributed to the pain
