11:11 AM...............................................................................
Its a funny thing scholars do really. They write papers after reading tons of papers and later review papers while theirs get reviewed by others for the purpose of writing more papers.
Pei seh. Am doing research on Jstor. Every time I do a FASS module (besides econs mods) this happens. I go to Jstor to do my own research.

Funny how my neigbors' voice is able to drift into my room. And its always her voice when she's lecturing her kid. No other voice of hers I hear.

"Tell me how many more square beads you must add? Is this SQUARE? How many MORE must you add????? Quick. Tell me! How many MORE!?"

I guess all who have grown up in Sg can relate to the above. haha. Poor thing lah. But if you wanna survive in our society. It's the paper that counts. Just look today's papers and N US's big add.

"Top 20% of our students (honors) have an average pay of $5000 with the highest at $11,000"

The society measures your success by your material wealth, and your material wealth is measured by how well you do in school. Of course there are exceptions; but they are exceptions.

This is why its important to be able to recognize square beads in your maths exercise book and know how many more of them to your round beads.
It's directly linked to how many MORE round beads you'll see on your compensation contract.
