Dubious
You meet dubious characters when you take the MRT at 1030
I'm so motivated to drive.

But its sure weird
Singaporeans are a dying breed indeed.

Ah. Just returned from the B ig 4 n etworking s ession.
Let's call them Yellow Blue Green Red shall we?
erm
Managed to collect 2 name cards and talk to representatives from all 4 firms.
1 HR director from green camp. A lady in her 50s which I wished I could have used the term "motherly" to describe. She's warm motherly turned corporate cold. haha.
After 15 mins of conversation, i was crossed eyed. She enters all the way into your personal space when talking to you. I believe too close for comfort would be the perfect phase to use here.
Also met a red camp manager. A young likable chap.
The same cannot be said for his boss which he later introduced us.
Body language - Condescending.
I know. We're green and supposedly naive. And yes, we know you've seen it all.
But at least try not to be so blatant about it. It's only polite.
Yellow camp had a good presentation. Chit chatting with a physcology and-you-ass grad turn yellow camp employee was only so so. Again, the loud undertone of the conversation was "I am doing my job" It was quite distracting.
The best encounter was with a director from the blue camp. Gave his honest answers (at least I felt they were - or he may be that learned) to the questions I posed. Found them quite useful.
Question of the night belongs to director from red camp:
If I offer you guys 200 more than the rest of the firms.Would you all join?
Yes right? yes?
Aiya...200 more each only ma.
And yes. "Aiya 200 more each only ma" were his exact words
Unfortunately, there's a cap to the sincerity of people in the corporate world.
haha. Sad.
But you can't always wear your heart on your sleeves can you?
The good news is I don't think I have to worry about getting a job.

They are desperate for to hire
Either that or they really have faith in the sch brand name
Been approached the entire night.
Clarice, kenneth, estelle, wp. No one could eat in peace. haha.
If you have not heard, 3 out of the 4 firms are offering internships along with perm job offers.
They're essentially using the product bundling strategy on us; poor greenies.
