Morning!
6/1/2009 started off well. The right amount of sunlight along with the occasional breeze makes a beautiful Tuesday morning :)
Ho. I feel like I can conquer the world today. Muhaha. (I'm saying this cause its not everyday you feel this way)
These are good days indeed.
I've got no work on hand currently. Fellow intern refuse to delegate work to me. Colleagues are chatting over coffee about where they should locate the big boss.
Ah haha. Big boss is coming down today to review work and there's only one table. So Mr Lucky will get to sit beside DUH BOSS...isn't this exciting? (note that there is no tinge of sarcasm here. I really do find this exciting)
I'll be leaving this office soon...hope to try out their signature drink ( above) before I leave. Probably buy one more cake from them too. One more of their heavenly cakes.
2009 started off well enough.
But...I really ought to sit down and make resolutions for the new year.
Was in the train this morning and this lady in front of me (who happen to be of the right height) was reading this book called "Your Road Map for Success"
So i read the book with her :x
The book says: everything starts with a dream. Dreams can be obtained through plans. So make plans and write them down....your plans should be time sensitive, obtainable and specific...plans like all things else require you to make sacrifices...
"He who fails to plan, plans to fail" huh?
but more importantly:
"Commit your works to the LORD And your plans will be established."
~Proverb 16:3
So plan and commit away baby (:
